Handcrafted in Kumasi, Ghana, from Sese wood, this Gye Nyame Kinara is a centrepiece worthy of the celebration it holds. The Gye Nyame symbol, one of the most recognised Adinkra symbols of the Akan people, speaks to the supremacy of God and the endurance of faith. Truly a fitting guardian for the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa.

Each evening of Kwanzaa, as the red, black, and green candles are lit to honour Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba, and Imani, this Kinara becomes more than a holder. It becomes a ritual, a gathering point, a story told in light.

At 17 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, it commands the room with quiet authority. Crafted from Sese white wood by skilled Ghanaian artisans, it is made to be passed down.
